The number of homes for sale always increase in January as homeowners waited until after the holidays to list.
New listings decreased 20% week over week. The number of new listings will continue to decrease leading up to Christmas. After Christmas listing inventory will rebound. The week between Christmas and New Year’s is a typically a busy week for the Spring Texas real estate market. Buyers who are wanting to relocate between the school semester break and buyers relocating for a new job will be out in force.
