Gleannloch Farms

A 2,100 acre premier master planned community in Spring Texas that’s known for its top notch Klein schools and its extensive array of amenities. In the 1950s, Gleannloch Farms was an Arabian horse breeding farm owned by Douglas Marshall. U.S. Presidents including Lyndon B Johnson had horses raised and bred by Gleannloch Farms. One of the more famous Gleannloch Farms stallions, Morafic sired 30 U.S. and Canadian National winners. Morafic is immortalized as a statue located near the intersection of Champion Forest Dr and Spring Cypress Rd. Some of Gleannloch Farms white wood clad stables and barn are still in use at the community’s equestrian center. 

Today over 3,200 families live in the history rich community of Gleannloch Farms. It’s homes were built between 1998 – 2017 by many popular and well known builders including Village Builders, Trendmaker Homes, DR Horton, Ryland, Plantation, David Weekley, Hammonds, Meritage, Lennar, Coventry, Newmark, Pulte Homes, and many custom builders. Gleannloch Farms has a wide range of home prices ranging from starter homes in the low $200,000s to custom, estate homes at over $4 million. Townhomes, single-family homes, patio homes, homes with golf course views, homes with lake views, and homes on large acreage lots are available in Gleannloch Farms. Gleannloch Farms has gated and non-gated sections. The annual HOA fees range from $1,000 – $1,550 dependent upon the neighborhood section.

Gleannloch Farms has an extensive array of amenities including walking trails, tennis courts, soccer and baseball fields, basketball and volleyball courts, a state of the art fitness center, and an equestrian center. There is truly something for everyone at Gleannloch Farms and your 4-legged furry friends haven’t been left out. They have their own 2.5 acre “bark park” with water fountains and off-leash areas for small dogs and large dogs. 

Do you love the water?  If the answer is yes, you will certainly want to check out the 3 neighborhood pools including the lakeside aquatic complex with a splashpad and a six-lane competition pool and the sports complex where the Gleannloch Gators hold their swim meets in the 8-lane competition pool. If swimming is not your thing, you can enjoy a walk around the banks of the 41 acres of lakes, drop a line off the fishing pier for some catch and release fishing, or rent a canoe from the boathouse and paddle out on the calming waters of the lakes. Inside Gleannloch Farms is the semi-private 27-hole golf club of Gleannloch Pines. The golf club is owned by Tour 18 (the owners of Augusta Pines Golf Club) Members of Gleannloch Pines can also play the 18 hole Augusta Pines golf course with minimal fees. 

The Gleannloch Farms HOA organizes numerous fun activities for its residents including swim up movies, school’s out parties, fourth of July parade, back to school event, Christmas parties, Food truck events, and an Easter celebration. There always seems to be something going on the neighborhood. 

The children of Gleannloch Farms attend schools in the highly-acclaimed Klein School District. Hassler Elementary and Frank Elementary are both located in the subdivision providing children the opportunity to walk or ride their bikes to school. The Texas Accountability System evaluates the academic performance of Texas public schools through standardized tests. The letter grades achieved by the schools zoned to Gleannloch Farms for 2019 are Hassler – A, Frank – A, Doerre – B, and Klein Cain High School – B. It’s a quick trip to the grocery store with Kroger located at the South entrance of the subdivision and HEB located at the North entrance of the subdivision. Numerous national fast casual restaurants and local restaurants are located right outside Gleannloch Farms. Vintage Market an upscale dining and entertainment complex is also less than 15 minutes away.
