Legends Ranch, a Canyon Gate community is one of the few guard gated master planned communities in Spring TX. Canyon Gate at Legends Ranch, commonly referred to as Legends Ranch offers it residents an extensive array of amenities including a Jr. Olympic swimming pool, a toddler splash pool, a beach entry splash pad, playgrounds, walking trails, lakes and fountains, clubhouse, basketball courts, and an exercise facility. Blue herons and egrets are commonly sighted along the banks of the lakes. The annual HOA fee is  $990 which is a typical HOA fee for a gated community with extensive amenities.

Legends Ranch is located in the highly regarded Conroe School District. The Texas Accountability System evaluates the academic performance of Texas public schools through standardized tests. The letter grades achieved by the schools zoned to Canyon Gate at Legends Ranch for 2022 are Birnham Woods – B, Clark – A, York Jr High – A and Grand Oaks High School – B.
