The Lizards & Snakes: Alive! exhibit opened today at the Houston Museum of Natural Science. The exhibition features more than 60 live lizards and snakes from five continents.
Included in the exhibit are geckos, lizards, water monitors, chuckwallas, iguanas, cobras, and emerald tree boas. The exhibit is bound to entertain the youngsters that love all the creepy crawly things that go bump in the night.
Last March, the Houston Museum of Natural Science had a Frog exhibit that my eight year old nephew visited. He just loved it! He talked about it for weeks. So if you get a chance go to the exhibit. Houston has a fabulous museum district and it is a short drive from Spring TX and other surrounding communities.
You can find more information about the Lizards & Snakes: Alive exhibit and its hours of operation at the Houston Museum of Natural Science’s web site.
