After over 11 months of construction and at a cost of over $5 million, the new T.C. Jester bridge over Cypress Creek has been completed and ready for traffic. The new bridge creates another North – South route from FM 1960 to Cypresswood and provides us with another road option for getting around the Spring Texas area.
If you are planning to use the T.C. Jester bridge for a shorter route from FM 1960 to Louetta pay close attention to your speed especially as you travel through the Terranova West subdivision. The constables who patrol Terranova West do not like speeders. In fact, according to the Terranova West community newsletter the constables issue a 100 speeding tickets a month on average. The opening of the T.C. Jester bridge is certain to increase traffic on T.C. Jester and if you are not careful your trip over the new bridge will come with a new speeding ticket.
