Oftentimes a first time home buyer will ask me “How many homes should I view before making a decision?”
Every time I am asked this question I think of the Tootsie Roll Pop commercial where the young boy asks the wise owl “How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop?”
For the owl it was only 3 licks but for the young boy it took many more licks than 3 to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop.
The point is there is no set number of Spring Texas homes you should view before deciding upon which one is “the home” for you. It is a personal thing just like the quantity of the licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop.
You will know when you have seen “the home” for you. There will be something about the home that you just can’t quite put a finger on but what you do know is the home feels right.
Some home buyers are able to identify “the home” right away. While other home buyers have to view a large quantity of homes and go through a reevaluation of their true needs vs wants before being able to find “the home”.
