Last year numerous fireworks displays were cancelled due to the severe drought in the Spring Texas area. Although residents understood the reasons behind the cancellation, they were still disappointed. The GOOD NEWS is 2012 is going to make up for 2011.
July 4th celebrations in the Spring Texas area:
Splashtown – Park is open from 10 am – 9 pm. Fireworks display begins shortly after park closes.
Old Town Spring – Live music and watermelon in town square from 11 am to 5 pm
Faithbridge Church hosts Celebrate Freedom Event – The activities begin at 7 pm with free food, refreshments, games, and music. Fireworks display at 9:15 pm.
The Woodlands Concert in the Park – Enjoy an evening of old school funk with Fidelity Maxx. Concert begins at 5:30 pm at Northshore Park.
The Woodands hosts 15th annual Red, Hot & Blue Festival – The fun begins at 6 pm with live music, face painting, strolling performers, games, hot dog and watermelon eating contests, and refreshments. The fireworks display begins at dusk which will be around 9:25 pm.
Engulf a hot dog, cool down with some watermelon, and celebrate the land of the FREE and the BRAVE. Happy 4th of July!!
